Meek Mill is now sentencing to 3-6 months in prison for apparently violating his probation. As spotted on Philly.com:

Just a week away from his “Homecoming Tour” concert at Temple University’s Liacouras Center, hip hop artist Meek Mill was sent to prison Friday for three to six months for violating his probation on a 2009 drug and gun case.

“Sir, I didn’t want to do this but you made me do this,” said Philadelphia Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley. “After all the years I tried to get you on the right track.”

The Philadelphia-born Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, and his lawyer Gary Silver, tried for almost four hours to convince Brinkley not to send him back to prison.

Mill, 27, said his rising career in hip hop has supported him, his mother, sister and son and other friends and placed his monthly expenses at $80,000 to $90,000.

“It took me 15 years to get here and this will be extremely damaging to my life,” Mill told the judge.

A dozen members of Mill’s posse in the gallery seemed stunned as sheriff’s deputies led him out of the courtroom and into custody to be transported to the city prison complex in Northeast Philadelphia.
