UPDATE: Confirmation from HuffPo
About an hour ago, 18-year-old Antonio Martin is said to have been shot by police in a gas station in Berkeley, Missouri, a St. Louis suburb next to Ferguson. Sources are saying Martin was unarmed at the time and footage shows Martin covered in a body bag and protestors forming at the scene, pointing out that an ambulance took much longer to arrive than over a dozen police offers. The scene was blocked off and a police barricade was formed as Berkeley’s chief of police and Mayor arrived at the scene.  There has been no official word from any major news organizations, the town of Berkeley or the county of St. Louis about the situation. One source is reporting that a Berkeley police officer told him Martin was shot by Berkeley PD. Below, we’ve organized some photos from the scene. You can also find Vine’s and our sources.
