The 27-year-old, who first rose to prominence as a child after appearing on Grange Hill, will take on the role of a Sudanese refugee in upcoming flick The Good Lie.
The film follows the tale of four Sudanese refugees – nicknamed ‘The Lost Boys’ – orphaned during the second Sudanese Civil War in the Eighties, according to website Deadline.
Oceng, also known by his rap alias Snakeyman, has also starred in several UK flicks such as Adulthood, My Brother the Devil and The Knot.
